As we reach our 7th installment of crowd favourite label Gramicci, we've taken the time to reflect on what has made Gramicci as popular as it has been. This season, the emphasis was around Pants, and the silhouettes that we introduced as Gramicci's first retailer in New Zealand.
As always, Gramicci's extensive pant range is far too big for any retailer to bring in, but we tried to focus on bringing in the largest range of silhouettes in New Zealand. From the classic G-Pant Straight Fit, to the more experimental Berkley Pant, we believe that we've bought in a wide range of styles, cuts and materials to cater to every person's needs.
Voyager Pant: The New Happy Place for Men
The Voyager Pants. As their name suggests, they’re made for going places - constructed from hard wearing cotton twill fabric with plenty of pocket space - they’re functional outdoor pants more than ready for adventure. Sitting on the baggy side of the legwear spectrum, they've got plenty of room in the thigh with a gentle taper. Originally debuting as a women's only silhouette, the demand grew for a men's style with a slightly shallower crotch gusset, and thus the Voyager Pant was born.

A long lost Gramicci classic, the Gadget Pants were first designed back in the early 90s as the ultimate utility pants. Sitting somewhere between climbing pants and painter pants, they’re seriously useful - those contrasting canvas pockets extend from the front around to the back for unparalleled haulage, whilst that extra webbing strip above the right pocket is prime for keeping keys, carabiners or water bottles right where you need ‘em. As for the shape, these have a relaxed, straight-legged silhouette. If you’re searching for a more minimal alternative to cargo or carpenter pants, then these might just be what you’re after.
