Founded in 1989 by Jos van Tilburg in Amsterdam, G-Star have been loyal and dedicated devotees to raw denim since the beginning.
With a keen focus on bringing raw and untreated denim to the fashion scene, they have had major collaborations with Jaden Smith, Pharrell Williams and even Max Verstappen.
Their innovative thinking around denim production, design and collaboration doesn’t just extend to their products either. Showing off their ability to think outside the box, they introduced a denim made with nettle fibers to reduce cotton use in 2010, and in 2014, even made a denim with ocean shore plastic.
